Hi, you don't know me and I hope you don't think I am too weird for commenting. My name is Anna Fowler and I randomly came across your blog (we have a fowlerfam blog too and I googled "fowlerfam" for fun tonight and saw your guys' blog). In any case, I thought it was so interesting because I noticed your little boy had a cleft lip. We too have 2 little boys who were both born with cleft lips too. Jimmy is 4 and Johnny is 1.5 years old. We currently live in Provo, Utah. My husband is originally from New York (Lyons/Syracuse area). I know Fowler is such a common name, but I can't help but ask if we are distantly related? The cleft thing just seems so crazy. Do you guys have any family history of clefting? We don't (at least we don't know of any).
